J Jaye Gold (Justin Gold), author and philosopher, talks about the psychological, spiritual, and contemporary cultural aspects of cannabis and other mind-altering plants.  A New York native with a Seinfeld-like sense of humor, J Jaye Gold has been dissecting human behavior’s micro-moments, as a scientist would, for decades.

For those curious about the phenomenon of widespread acceptance of cannabis as a mind-body medicine and its possible impact on all levels of human life, his perspectives are fascinating and relevant.

Dedicated to understanding contemporary human behavior theoretically and firsthand, he works extensively with small groups over volunteer projects. He supports the intentional use of cannabis for exploring subtlety, humor, and perspective on what it means to be human, particularly in our fast-paced, technology-filled culture. He has been assisting people in their search for inner meaning for 40 years.

He is the founder of the Center for Cultural & Naturalist Studies, a California non-profit organization that works with underprivileged children and offers disaster relief worldwide.

“The best birthday gift I ever received was the one I got the day I was born, a human body. I’m still unwrapping it, trying to figure how all this sophisticated high-tech equipment is supposed to be used.” J Jaye Gold .
